I think this show is pulling a Lost, which is to say that I think the writers are throwing out mysteries before they know how they’re going to solve them. In some cases they will be solved in an unsatisfactory manner, in others they won’t be solved at all and they’ll hope we just forget.

I sat down to watch episode 5 and didnt even make it through the credits. It just seemed like way too much of an effort to get through another 60+ minutes of this.

I’ll probably end up watching if I get really bored or have a heap of spare time buts its slipped way down to the bottom of my watch list.
I dont like dumping shows mid season but this is really testing me.

Season 2 was for the most part a disappointment. There were 2 or 3 good episodes. I’m like you guys, the type who wants to figure it out and clarify parts for those who have a working theory but one detail is wrong.

Nothing made any sense this season. None of it was plausible. It was all nonsensical gibberish meant for the momentary pleasure of watching. It just gave the audience a sense of what it is like to be a host. There were 100 time swaps. There were 100 reveals. There were details meant for the scope of one episode (Will’s profile).

All the data was deleted. All the data was saved. Everyone died. Everyone lived. It was now. It was then. It was somewhere between.

Not worthy of analysis. It’s like we’ve all forgotten J.J. Abrams is Executive Producing.

I’ve just binge watched Season 1 and don’t understand for the life of me what all the hype is about. I’ve found this show corny and boring to the point I nearly fell asleep couple times (daytime). Peeked at Season 2, which I also downloaded, figured it was gonna be ten hours more of the same and hit delete…

I don’t dislike this show. I actually enjoyed watching it this season despite my problems with it. But I’m out. I found myself thinking of the Metal Gear video game franchise a lot, which is to say I have similar feelings about the two. I enjoyed MGS. I was sad when it came to an end. But I’m too stupid to actually follow anything that’s going on, and I just sort of sit there trusting that everything I’m seeing probably makes sense if I actually put in the effort to try and understand it.

I liked MGS when it was about infiltrating an arctic base and stopping a quirky terrorist group, but before long it had spiraled into something so much broader that it lost sight of what it was. I liked Westworld when it was a show about a cowboy robot choose-your-own-adventure amusement park. For better or worse, it just isn’t that anymore. I’ve seen a lot of good TV show premises slowly devolve under the weight of their intricate plots to the point where they lose their luster (Lost, Walking Dead, Dexter, etc…), and for me, it’s already begun with Westworld. I’d rather get out now while I can still look back fondly on it than hang on too long and just be sad.

For those of you who are going to stick it out (I imagine most of you are in that group), the one thing I’m jealous of is you get to see more Ed Harris. He and Anthony Hopkins really did some heavy lifting this season. They steal every scene they’re in, and they’re just great.

Westworld is famous for showing you things that mean something completely different than what you think, where everything has 10 interpretations until you hit the ending with a twist at the last minute that redefines everything you watched before…I wouldn’t read much into it other than “whoa, this looks cool”

For me , its profound idea of Robots coming to live and taking over. It makes it even more interesting the fact the all robots look like human so you never know who is who. .

But I know is hard to like a show just because other people like it. I cant get myself to like Games of throne no matter how much people try to explain it to me. I`m just not into expensive medieval soap operas lol.
